Why One Contractor for Tile and Glass
Shower glass fits against the tile. The tile fits against the rough opening. When tile and glass are handled by different contractors, there's always a coordination gap - and usually the glass company blames the tile installer or vice versa when something doesn't align. Batista Tile eliminates that problem by managing both scopes.
We set the tile to the right finished dimensions, then supply and install the glass to fit perfectly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply the glass or do I need to source it separately?
We handle the full supply and installation. You specify the door style, glass thickness, and hardware finish — we measure, order, and install. No need to coordinate with a separate glass company.
How long does shower door installation take?
Installation typically takes 3 - 6 hours once the glass arrives. Lead time on custom-sized enclosures is usually 3 weeks from order approval to delivery.
When do you measure for the glass?
We measure and template as soon as the supporting substrate is installed — no need to wait for tile work to be fully complete. This saves time in the overall project sequence and gets the shower finished sooner.
Can you install a frameless enclosure on an existing shower?
Yes, as long as the tile walls are plumb and the substrate is solid. We'll assess the existing shower before measuring.
What hardware finish do you recommend?
Matte black and brushed nickel are the most popular on Cape Cod right now. Polished chrome is a classic that never dates. We recommend choosing hardware that matches or complements the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom.
