  • Full regrouting - removing old grout and installing fresh

  • Epoxy grout installation - for kitchens, commercial areas, and high-stain-risk applications

  • Caulk joint replacement - floor-wall transitions, inside corners, around fixtures

  • Grout color matching - sourcing the closest available match to existing grout

  • Grout sealing - applied after new or cleaned grout for long-term protection

When Grout Repair Is the Right Call

If your tile is still solidly bonded - tap it, it should sound solid, not hollow - but the grout is cracked, stained, or missing in spots, regrouting is usually the most cost-effective fix. We remove the failing grout with oscillating tools and grout saws, clean the joints thoroughly, and apply fresh grout. The result looks nearly new.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need grout repair or full tile replacement?

If your tile is still solidly bonded - tap it, it should sound solid, not hollow - but the grout is cracked, stained, or missing in spots, regrouting is usually the most cost-effective fix. We remove the failing grout with oscillating tools and grout saws, clean the joints thoroughly, and apply fresh grout. The result looks nearly new.

Can you regrout a shower?

Yes. Shower regrouting is a common repair service. We remove all failing grout, inspect the substrate, apply fresh grout, and seal. We also replace all caulk joints at transitions - these must be caulk, not grout, to allow for movement and prevent future cracking.

What's the difference between cement grout and epoxy grout?

Cement grout is the standard for most residential tile. Epoxy grout is harder, stain-resistant, and used in kitchens, commercial spaces, and areas with heavy use or chemical exposure. It's also more difficult to install and should always be done by an experienced installer.

How long does regrouting take?

A typical bathroom regrouting takes 1 day. Larger areas take longer. Grout must cure 24-48 hours before the area is used.

Do you seal grout after installation?

Yes, unless the grout being used already has a sealer component. We apply penetrating grout sealer after cement-based grout has fully cured. This protects against staining and extends the life of the grout significantly. Epoxy grout does not require sealing.
