What Builders Appreciate
-
We understand bathroom sequencing and work around your project schedule.
-
We coordinate with plumbers on drain locations and fixture rough-ins.
-
We coordinate with designers to ensure the client's approved vision is executed with precision.
-
We use our proprietary layout software to plan tile layout, feature positioning, and design details before a single tile is set.
-
We protect all finished surfaces (floor, countertops, cabinetry, fixtures) before work begins.
-
We control mess. Tile work is inherently dusty, but we minimize it with dustless cutting systems, containment where needed, and all cutting done outside whenever possible.
That's the standard on every Batista Tile bathroom.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you handle the full tile scope for a multi-unit project?
Yes. We have experience on multi-unit residential projects and can handle multiple bathrooms simultaneously or in sequence based on your construction schedule.
Do you install floor warming systems under tile?
Yes. Our team is trained and experienced in installing, testing, and registering warranties for Schluter, LATICRETE, and NuHeat floor warming systems.
Are you familiar with tiling over an existing heated floor system?
Yes. We install tile over both electric mat systems and hydronic radiant heat installed by others. We coordinate with the HVAC and electrical trades as needed. When required, we use a thermal camera to map where the heating elements run - preventing accidents/damage during substrate prep, waterproofing, or tile installation.
How do you treat cuts around pipes, rough-in valves, drains, and toilet flanges?
With the same precision as every other cut - even the ones nobody sees. Cuts hidden behind finish pieces, escutcheons, and flanges are still done properly at Batista Tile. We hold ourselves to a high standard in every corner of our work, regardless of whether the client or builder will ever see it.
What's the best tile for a bathroom floor?
Taste is subjective, functionality is objective. Porcelain with a slight texture (R10 slip rating or better) is ideal for most bathroom floors - durable, safe, water-resistant, and available in hundreds of styles.
